Local Resilience Forums (LRFs) are a partnership consisting of emergency services, health services, local authorities, voluntary organisations, utility companies, the Environment Agency, the military, and transport organisations.  LRFs collectively assess risks and prepare for, respond to and facilitate recovery from, a wide variety of potential emergencies including pandemics, flooding, major industrial incidents and severe weather.
We are currently recruiting to fill the below vacancy

LRF Resilience Officer (Full time, 12month, fixed term)
The LRF Resilience Officer will work with partners across LLR to deliver the agreed work plan for the LRF which will include risk and hazard assessments, training & exercising and the implementing lessons identified from recent incident responses. The Resilience Officer will also assist in the response to emergency situations as they arise.
- Degree or Diploma in Emergency Planning / Disaster Management or demonstrable experience of contingency planning / crisis management / emergency incident response
- Demonstrate experience in the development and production of contingency / emergency plans
- Demonstrate experience of engaging and working with a range of organisations to achieve shared objectives
- Demonstrate experience in the production and presentation of comprehensive training and exercise materials
- Willingness to be vetted to SC Level
