Melton short breaks and supported living service is looking to appoint  part time assistant support officers on a permanent  basis. We can offer hours to suit from 20hrs - 35 per week
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, supporting adults with a learning disability within the short breaks service and within  individual's own homes.
You will need to be an excellent communicator, be able to work flexibly, following a rota - working shifts, including early and late's, be reliable, resilient and self motivated. The support worker is responsible for planning, monitoring and reviewing support packages of care - maintaining high standards of support - promoting independence.
  • Willingness  to complete training
  • knowledge of safeguarding
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to write clear , consise records
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work shifts and follow a rota - including weekends and bank holidays
