LLR Local Resilience Forum (LRF) & Resilience Partnership Manager
Local Resilience Forums and Local Authorities have been at the heart of the national response to the pandemic. With a number of national reviews ongoing it is an exciting time to be involved in civil contingencies work as it evolves.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an emergency planning professional to lead our partnership approach to planning and responding to major incidents.
Working across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland you will provide strategic and tactical advice/support and coordination to senior leaders and multi-agency partnerships in the response to emergencies.
This is a pivotal role, managing both the Local Resilience Forum and a joint resilience service across LLR local authorities. The role requires significant understanding of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, practical experience of leading major incidents, strong negotiation, and leadership skills, experience of managing teams in a multi-agency environment, budget management experience, and experience of producing plans and training materials.
In return we offer an attractive salary package, excellent working terms and conditions, and access to training and development opportunities.
Closing date: Thursday 30 September 2021 at midnight.
