Asset Management - Business Partner
Location: County Hall (Temporarily working from home due to Covid 19)
Salary: Grade 13 £41,820 - £46,203
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Strategic Property Services Team.
     
We are seeking a Business Partner to lead the development of strategy and plans on behalf of Client Department and to drive and lead property initiatives through the development of business cases taking into account capital and revenue availability or potential sources, and be responsible for commissioning and ensuring the delivery of the project to completion. You will also be will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team with specific responsibility for the development, delivery and compliance with the Corporate Asset Management Plan
 
Essential Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Land Management/ Surveying, Construction and Building strategy formulation, development and implementation (or similar);
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or other equivalent professional body
  • A business management or project management qualification at an appropriate level (Prince 2 foundation or similar)
  • Strategic management of asset and/or construction and building functions at a high level.
  • Knowledge and experience of business case development and an ability to develop and implement capital and revenue-based programmes and projects.
  • Experience in the acquisition and disposal of a wide range of land and property both leasehold and freehold and experience in bringing forward potential development sites.
  • Experience in dealing with the appointment and monitoring of external agents.
  • Relevant Local Government experience.
