To achieve this we require a Curriculum Lead for PSHE to work alongside other Curriculum Leas and wider staff team to embed and raise standards in PSHE within teaching and learning throughout the organisation. The successful candidate will be required to:
  • Lead, manage and develop PSHE throughout the schools.
  • Lead the working party ensuring best practice across identified areas of the curriculum.
  • Impact on the educational progress of all learners in the schools.
  • Lead on and monitor school wide PSHE and Learning for Life initiatives in the schools.
  • Support all staff to operate at their optimum effectiveness in the delivery of PSHE within the curriculum for all learners so that they can achieve their full potential.
You will be an experienced education professional, with at least three years experience of working with children and young people within an education setting. The successful candidate must hold a teaching qualification such as PGCE or QTLS and have sound knowledge and experience of
designing and developing the PSHE curriculum. You will be working closely with the Leadership Team, Governors and Committees as relevant, to foster a positive working relationship so therefore must have strong communication skills at all levels.
It is an essential requirement to be able to demonstrate experience at leadership level or be an aspiring middle manager.
This role does include driving across Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, therefore please ensure you have a full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
