Do you have a passion for improving outcomes for adults of working age with a learning disability, autistic spectrum disorder or other condition which may mean they require health, social care or community-based support?
About you
We are looking for a talented individual who can lead the development of Leicestershire County Council's strategy and planning for working age adults (i.e. those under 65 years of age) and shape the market relating to these services.
The successful candidate will have a background in a senior or strategic role in social care or health alongside:
- A strong track record of partnership working in a complex multi-agency environment.
- An understanding of the current health and social care agenda particularly in relation to the provision of services for working age adults.
- Experience of engaging people and key stakeholders in planning, commissioning or strategy development.
- Well-developed analytical and communication skills - written and verbal - including the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
- An ability to respond to competing priorities and demanding timescales.
