Are you passionate about driving evidence based, sustainable change within Children and Family Services? Are you curious and inquisitive, with a flair for numbers? Can you effectively manage and motivate stakeholders through change?
LCC's Transformation Unit is looking for two ambitious Business Improvement Managers to join the team to initially work on the defining Children and Family Services for the Future programme in partnership with Newton Europe. The role of Children and Family services has changed significantly over the past few years. Demand for our services continues to increase, our role has expanded, expectations are high and pressures on our budget continue to grow. What hasn't changed is our unwavering commitment to ensure that, at the heart of our services, we aim to achieve the best possible outcomes children and their families. These roles will be part of a programme team that will be transforming Targeted Early Help and Social Care Services so that we are in the best possible position to deliver services for children into the future.
We are looking for experienced change professionals, with a proven track record, skills and experience to support us in the delivery of this crucial programme of work.

- Relevant degree or experience 
Experience in:
- working across team and organisational boundaries
- motivating groups of stakeholders to embrace change and managing them through change
- Influencing stakeholders at operational and senior management levels
- Developing your own skills and being willing to receive feedback
Key skills:
- Ability to quickly establish open and honest relationships with a range of staff to drive the pace and quality of delivery
- Ability to solve problems in uncertain and unfamiliar situations
- Ability to understand, analyse and draw conclusions from complex data sets.
