We are seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants due to expansion to join our highly committed team of support staff.
    
Start date: From the Autumn Term
Contract: 32 hours per week.
Closing Date: 9am Friday 3rd July 2020
     
The successful applicant will need to be confident, well organised and self-motivated, along with being flexible to meet the needs of the school. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
      
  • A commitment to raising levels of student achievement
  • High standards of Literacy and Maths
  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • A passion to work with children with moderate learning needs including Autism
        
Maplewell Hall is an expanding special school for students with moderate learning difficulties and Autism aged 11 – 19 years. At present there are 235 students on roll across the whole school, extending to approx. 250 students across 2 campus’ and our MAP unit from the Autumn Term, MAP provides personalised learning for students with high functioning Autism and is designed to support students in reaching their full potential.
