Leicestershire County Council is looking for a dynamic professional to work within its Oral Health Improvement Team. As a member of the team you will work with general population groups and targeted higher risk groups promoting and delivering a high standard of oral health improvement in line with local and national oral health strategies. This is a key role delivering specific areas within the service, such as supervised tooth brushing programmes, training to professionals and early years settings and development of the oral health improvement resources. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail along with strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work independently using their own initiative.
  
Essential Requirements:
• Oral Health Education Certificate or equivalent health related qualification.
• Experience in carrying out oral health/health improvement activities.
• Experience of delivering training to a wide range of professionals.
• Experience of partnership working and good communication with internal and external colleagues.
• Working knowledge of oral health promotion activities and implementation.
• Excellent IT and Strong organisational skills.
• Experience of monitoring and evaluating projects.
