This is a role within Children and Families Wellbeing Service Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme (CYP IAPT) To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality, brief outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties;


  • A relevant level 3 qualification plus experience that clearly demonstrates the skills competencies and knowledge outlined below.
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Psychological Wellbeing Practice (Children & Young People) or Undergraduate Certificate in Psychological Wellbeing Practice (Children & Young People) Other relevant postgraduate degree Training in nursing, social work, occupational
  • therapy, counselling or specific psychological therapy.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties.
  • Experience of working in mental health or related services.
  • Experience of working within a service where agreed targets are in place, demonstrating outcomes.
  • Experience of carrying out risk assessments within scope of practice. Knowledge of child and adolescent development and the role of the family in
