The Leicestershire Warm Homes Service sits as part of the Public Health Department and is pleased to be recruiting to a Warm Homes Support Officer position. You will join a small team who will provide information, advice and guidance on maintaining a warm and healthy home. You will support the raising of awareness of fuel poverty prevalence and encourage warm home initiatives to support people to maintain their well-being.
                            
The role is designed to support the work of the visiting Warm Homes Officer and will be split across 2 main workstreams designed to be flexible based on seasonal demand and service aims:
* Provide an intermediate level of general energy efficiency information and advice giving by telephone
* Deliver promotional and briefing activity to internal teams, external organisations and public facing events about the Warm Homes service offer, fuel poverty and how to access the service.
  
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
• NVQ2 in Business Administration, equivalent qualification OR relevant demonstrable experience in a customer facing environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to adapt to deal with a wide range of customers
