The starting salary is £18,672 (level 1) rising to £19,446 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

To co-ordinate, actively participate on site and deliver a substainable volunteer and work-placement programme which supports the Service Strategic Plan and the sustainability of Museum sites through community engagement in the work of the site, activity programmes and collections - please see job description/person specification for full details.
  
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • A good working knowledge of IT, including Word, Excel email and databases.
  • Experience of financial systems and procedures and ability to keep accurate records
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety and Risk Assessment in relation to providing a service to the public
  • An understanding of Child Protection issues
  • Experience of working with volunterr programmes in a customer service environment
  • An interest and enthusiasm if Museums and Galleries
  • Able to work flexibly across all museum sites including evening, weekend and some Bank Holidays
