The starting salary is £18,426 (level 1) rising to £18,795 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

These roles cover one site being a primary base, depending on requirements:
• Newstead Abbey Historic House and Gardens
• Wollaton Hall and Deer Parl
Various weekly hours from 5-25 are available as part of an annualised hours contract. 
   
The Visitor Assistant will provide a warm welcome, actively engage and deliver outstanding customer service in the cafes, museums and shops.
    
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
• Ability to be flexible and work weekends, school holidays and evenings.
• To provide a friendly, front facing service to our visitors in the cafes, shops and museums at our hertiage sites, actively welcoming, serving and positively engaging with all customers at all times.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle/reconcile cash, cheques and credit cards in accordance with Nottingham City Council's financial regulations.
