Leicestershire County Council, Environment & Waste Management Team is currently looking to appoint a Transport Coordinator.

The position will involve working in a small team alongside the Transport Supervisor to deliver Leicestershire County Council's Waste Haulage Operations from the Loughborough Waste Transfer Station, working with an established team of HGV Drivers and the Waste Transfer Station Team. This role is office based and the hours will be mainly Monday to Friday but Bank Holiday and Weekend work will be required when needed.

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Experience in supervising employees in the Waste Management industry or similar workplace
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate and familiar with MS Office or equivalent and industry standard software
  • Full UK Drivers Licence, HGV Licence desirable
