An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly created post within Leicestershire County Council's Passenger Fleet Team. The post of Training Coordinator will require the successful post holder to assist the management team in ensuring that the service is effective and legally compliant.
         
The job purpose will be to:
- Coordinate and deliver assessments and training for driving and escorting staff in accordance with C.T.A approved training standards.
- To provide support over a wide area of work within the Passenger Fleet Team.
- Maintain office recording systems.
- Assist with staff induction procedures.
  
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
• Relevant experience of working within a staff training environment
• MiDAS 'trainer' certificate or commitment to attain qualification prior to appointment
• Full driving licence prior to 1/1/1997 or post 1/1/1997 driving licence with appropriate mini bus capability D1
• Communication to a good standard, both verbal and written
• Working knowledge of databases, including be-spoke systems
