Do you enjoy problem solving and investigations?  Do you mind getting dirty or working at height?

Have you got both good written and verbal communication skillls?  If so maybe a job as a pest control officer could be for you.  On a day to day basis you will be required to visit both domestic and commercial properties, correctly identify pests and carry out treatments.  You will have to make accurate reports and pass relevant information on to the right teams.  Therefore good organisational skills are essential.

Do not worry about knowledge of pests as we will teach you all you need to know.  You will be required to hold a full UK driving licence and have some basic IT skills.

So if you are not squeamish and do not mind dealing with the likes of rats, mice, wasps, bedbugs and cockroaches this could be the job for you.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to take detailed notes and keep records
  • Basic IT skills
  • Willingness to undertake in-house training specific to the job role.
