~ An exciting opportunity to work in the Leicester County Council's ICT Service Desk Team ~
Technical Support Analysts (2nd Line) – 2 vacancies x Grade 9 posts
Salary Range  £25,485 to £27,666 - Grade 9
   
Role:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join our well-established ICT Service Desk. The post holders will work alongside experienced IT Infrastructure and Application professionals to assist in meeting the demands of the wider IT Service, as well as ensuring that Leicestershire County Council provides an excellent Service Desk 2nd line support function. We are looking for individuals with plenty of drive and energy to provide excellent customer service returning our service users to full productivity.

The advertised roles are full-time posts working 37 hours per week with the occasional need to work outside of usual 9-5 business hours.
You will:
  • Come with a sound technical background and you will also be willing to learn and keep on top of new innovations in technology.
  • Know how to communicate with service users both internally and externally, I&T teams, as well as key suppliers and partners.
  • As well as having key technical knowledge and skills you will be able to resolve complex incidents and service requests.
  • Take on new challenges and work within a high-performance team to deliver high quality outcomes.
