To act as lead competent person on mitigation of fire risk in building design for Leicestershire County Council, manage the risk from fire effectively to protect and safeguard vulnerable individuals from the risk of fire.     
             
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
• Member of Institute of Fire Engineers
• NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate
• Extensive knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (fire safety) Order 2005, Building Regs (Part B) and associated legislation and guidance documents such as BB100
• Proven track record of carrying out fire risk assessments
• Practical experience of fire engineering principles & project management
• Experience of the design process and the principles of risk reduction
