Salary:£41,820 - Pro-Rata

This is a fixed term post until June 2022

To improve the outcomes and life chances of children, young people and their families in Leicestershire:
  • To undertake the triage of requests for service to identify the most appropriate response to the needs identified
  • To identify opportunities with other partners and lead the development of shared approaches and systems for triage
  • Managing and leading a team of multi-disciplinary staff
  • Implementing integrated approaches to early intervention service delivery at locality level
  • Understanding the needs of children, young people and families at a locality level and responding to these in innovative ways
  • Degree in a relevant subject PLUS experience evidenced against the information below
  • Professional Qualification in Social Work (HCPC registration required), Probation, Education (including Youth & Community work) and relevant experience of working in the field
  • Or Demonstrable, significant, multi-agency experience, evidenced against the headings below including significant experience of working within Children and Families Services in a multi-agency environment
  • Experience of providing support, supervision, and line management to a team
  • Experience of working in children or family services within a health, social care, or education context
  • Experience of working within a performance framework which focuses on the outcomes achieved through activities
  • Experience of engaging with children, young people and families who are vulnerable or from a hard to reach group
  • Experience of dealing with sensitive staff issues linked to organisational standards
  • Well-developed knowledge of the types of services, initiatives or programmes which may be useful in delivering family wellbeing support to children, young people and their families within the field of early intervention
  • Demonstrate the ability to build powerful relationships across stakeholders, peers and partners creating open and transparent relationships based on trust
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead and deliver sustainable, collective high performance, through inspirational leadership of people, setting clear priorities, and a strong approach to performance management
  • Must have a full valid driving licence and unrestricted use of a car and relevant insurances
