The starting salary is £42,683 (level 1) rising to £44,632 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

Are you looking to take the next step in your Social Worker carer or are you an experienced Team Manager looking for a new challenge.  We are currently have Team Manager positions in our citywide MASH, Duty Assessment Service, and our Fieldwork teams. We are seeking dynamic Team Managers to help us to keep children at the heart of all that we do. You must be social work qualified, registered with SW England, and have current or recent front line practice experience.  
Duty Assessment Service.
Working alongside our MASH team is our Citywide Duty Assessment Service
You will be responsible for managing a team of Social Workers who specialise in meeting the needs of vulnerable children and young people in the City. These Social Workers addition complete children and families assessments to determine thresholds of intervention with children and their families within a safeguarding context whilst ensuring that children and families. Our Social Workers provide a service to a highly professional standard and most importantly keep children and families at the heart ensuring that families receive the right support at the right time
We are also currently looking for experienced, qualified Team Managers to join and lead our front line fieldwork teams across the City of Nottingham. Our locality teams support Children and Young People in their local areas across all levels of need. We work in partnership with relevant agencies and families to achieve good outcomes for children.
Nottingham is an early intervention city and we have invested in the use of therapeutic, multi-systemic approaches to work with families to achieve long lasting change and support frontline social work practice. 
We welcome applications from qualified Social Workers who have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the frameworks that underpin Social Work practice and, are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve positive outcomes for children, by working in partnership with families and professionals to develop SMART plans to meet the needs of children.
This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, as detailed in the job description and person specification, is an essential requirement for the role.
