Contract: Fixed term until 10th July 2020 (initially)
Teaching Assistant: Grade 6 £19,173- £19,554pa pro rata
(£9.93 - £10.13 ph) 21 hours per week (plus 2 additional claimable hours) 4 x full days & 1 x half day
Midday Supervisor: Grade 4 £18,066 - £18,246 pa pro rata (£9.36 - £9.45 ph) 3 hours per week

The Headteacher and Governing Body of Congerstone Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our Year 1 team in September 2019, to provide 1:1 SEN support. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo to assist with teaching and learning.
This Midday Supervisor role will be focussed around the supervision of the child within the playground environment. Ensuring free play and games are suitable and helping develop social relationships with peers.
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to support the pupil inside and outside the classroom
• Be patient, caring and show commitment.
• Be able to develop a good understanding of children’s individual needs and to support their progress in all areas.
• Have excellent communication abilities and be able to liaise with parents.
• Have the ability to work using their own initiative.
• Be hardworking with good organisational skills.
• Have good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Be flexible and positive with a good sense of humour.
• Have the highest expectations for all our children and their futures.
Previous experience of working in a school environment is essential.
