We are seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic, ambitious and creative Teacher of Design to join our very successful design department at the beginning of academic year 2019/2020 and take responsibility for planning and delivering outstanding lessons across key stage 3 and 4 in order to achieve excellent results for our students. The ability to offer teaching in Food & Nutrition, Product Design and Textiles at KS3, as well as a specialism of either Design Technology or Food & Nutrition at KS4 is a requirement of the role.
The academy is well placed to offer a comprehensive support package to NQTs from all routes into teaching, including PGCE, SCITT and Schools Direct. Both new and established teachers will be supported and encouraged to develop their practice by engaging in the numerous opportunities to collaborate share ideas with colleagues within our Professional Learning programme.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.
