Full Time, permanent, across the 11-19 campus salary at TMS / UPS
We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Teacher, who can inspire a passion for Computer Science across a cohort of mixed ability students. You will have a thorough understanding of current Computer Science and ICT curricula as well as strong classroom management and differentiation skills, and the ability to bring your enthusiasm and confidence to the classroom.
We value our staff and believe in them. We offer you training and support to develop not just as a teacher but as a future leader. We offer you a friendly and supportive team of colleagues to work with too.
Do you want to join us? You will come to a school full of sparky, creative and intelligent students. You will find a capable and experienced team of adults that support children’s learning and who are very proud that OFSTED rates our pastoral care as a strength of our schools. We have one non-negotiable: you must be passionate about the care, happiness and learning of the children you’ll work with. It is also vitally important that you bring a sense of humour.
Wigston Academies Trust is a Trust formed of two schools and a pre-school: Wigston Academy (11-16), Wigston College (16-19) and Tiger Tots, led by one Headteacher and an Executive Headteacher based in the Leicestershire town of Wigston. OFSTED rates the behaviour of our children, as well as our leadership and management, as good not just at the Academy but also at the College and in our pre-school too.
Come and have a socially distanced look round – we’d love to meet you.
