Art is a key strength of our provision for young people and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative teacher of art, who is passionate about their subject, to join our team.
  
You must be dedicated, enthusiastic, organised and totally committed to driving up standards and raising achievement through the delivery of outstanding lessons, as well as having the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider community. As teacher of art you will ensure that every student reaches their full potential by planning, delivering, monitoring, evaluating and developing appropriately inspiring broad and differentiated lessons.
    
Ibstock Community College is a unique, friendly and welcoming 11-14 mixed comprehensive with 550 on roll. The college was judged to be good in our most recent Ofsted (December 2017).
  
We are currently in discussions about extending our age range to 16 and welcome applications from candidates with a background in both KS4 and KS5. Both NQTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
