The support worker will assist the support officers and management team in the efficient and effective day to day operations of Short Breaks. The support work will be responsible to plan, monitor, review and provide support packages for service users maintaining a high standard of support and care to people, ensuring their emotional, physical and social wellbeing needs are met.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
•    Experience of working with people who have learning disabilities, mental health issues, physical disabilities or complex support needs
•    Must be able to work on a rota system which includes working mornings ,evenings, weekends and bank holidays
•    Ability to assist with moving and handling of service users as required
•    Effective communication skills
