The starting salary is £18,426 rising to £18,795 on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers)

Our Supply Caretakers work primarily within schools and council buildings providing cover due to the absence of the sites usual caretaking arrangements.  They undertake a range of duties including but not limited to the unlocking and locking of buildings, cleaning duties, general maintenance tasks and statutory compliance activities.  You must be able to work independently and provide clear communication to colleagues and customers.
   
Customer Services skills are essential to success in this role as is the ability to work under pressure at times.
   
The working day typically involves working split shifts at one or multiple sites, therefore you must be flexible with regards to working hours as the role can involve early starts, late finishes and occasional weekend working.  Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS check is required for successful applicants.
