The starting salary is £21,589 (Level One) rising to £22,911 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers)

There is an exciting opportunity to join the highly driven and successful team at Nottingham Tennis Centre. We are currently recruiting for Supervisors with a passion for Sport and Leisure and delivering exceptional customer service at every opportunity with a can do attitude.
Our Supervisors are key to the successful running of our facility. You will oversee and ensure the smooth operating and safety of the facility, team and customers.
You will ensure that the team and yourself will offer the best possible customer experience on a daily basis. Ensuring that the facility meets performance targets through providing inspirational leadership and development of the team. As a successful Supervisor you will be professional at all times leading by example. Great communication and presentation skills are also an essential part of the role. We are more than just a Tennis Centre offering Gym, health Suite and Group Fitness facilities along with meeting and events space with no experience of Tennis required for the role.
Nottingham Tennis Centre is the largest community indoor Tennis centre in the Uk. It currently hosts the WTA & ATP international tennis tournaments as well as other international and national events. The centre has strong links with the Lawn Tennis Association and other partners making it one of the busiest centres in the country.
  • Maintain and hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (8th Edition)
  • Hold a National Pool Plant qualification or ability to gain within 12 weeks of appointment
  • Evidence of Supervising and directing staff to achieve performance targets / deadlines and ability to change / adapt resources to meet the needs of the customer and service
  • Ability to motivate team members from different technical backgrounds using a variety of management styles
  • Ability to work as a team member and supervise a team
