As a result of growth in pupil numbers and promotion of existing post holder, we are looking to appoint subject experts and enthusiasts to our high achieving team who want to work in a school where:

• There is a strong academic ethos and high expectations of students;
• The Professional Learning of teachers is a priority and time for this is integrated into the school day;
• Behaviour management systems are centralised and teachers supported to teach.
• There is a rich and well-resourced curriculum in place.
         
The successful candidate will lead curriculum development in health and social care and teach the subject at key stage 4. The academy is well placed to offer a comprehensive support package to NQTs from all routes into teaching, including PGCE, SCITT and Schools Direct. Both new and established teachers will be supported and encouraged to develop their practice by engaging in the numerous opportunities to collaborate share ideas with colleagues within our Professional Learning programme.
