The starting salary is £37,849. (Level One) rising to £39,782. (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

We have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and experienced lawyers to join our busy Children & Adults Legal team.  We are centrally located in Nottingham, close to the local Courts and within easy reach of all transport links in and out of the city. 
  
We are a busy, friendly and supportive team dealing with children and adults social care advice and representation.  The team covers an extensive range of children's social care legal work including care proceedings, adoption and fostering.  Adults social care work includes Court of Protection proceedings, mental health and general safeguarding matters. 
  
Currently, we have opportunities for new members of the team to focus on either children's or adults social care matters, although there would be the opportunity to give legal advice in respect of other areas of the team's work. 
  
Applications will be considered from candidates from the whole range of experience in the team's work, and posts will be offered at the grade appropriate to the successful applicant's skills and experience.   
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
• An admitted Solicitor or Barrister
• Excellent communication, analytical and drafting skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload
• Willing to undertake advocacy at the appropriate level
