Are you an experienced and qualified Children’s Social Worker (Level 3) with a passion for adoption?
We are currently looking for experienced, qualified Children’s Social Workers to drive adoption plans for children in care within Nottingham City. You will be motivated and passionate about working with our children in care, able to drive adoption plans forward and ensure that our children are placed with their permanent families as quickly as possible.
Main Duties:
• To complete comprehensive Child Permanence reports that are reflective of the child’s lived experiences
• To identify any needs and support required to address trauma and neglected parenting that enables a child’s move to an adoptive placement
• To be accountable for timescales and recording within electronic records (Liquid Logic), recognising that any delays impact upon a child’s plan
• To be able to assess the needs of children, enabling you to match them to appropriate carers, and being able to verbally and comprehensively present this information
• With minimal supervision to undertake case management responsibilities that include child-focused assessments of need within a person centred approach, monitoring, coordinating and review of care plans.
• To practice in accordance with the Social Work England professional standards for Social Workers.

• 3 years post-qualified
• Professional Social Work Qualification
• HCPC Registered
• Direct experience working with children in a child care setting
• Possession of full driving licence and access to a vehicle
As a Level 3 Social Worker, you will receive a salary of £35,828 (this salary is inclusive of a temporary market supplement).
