ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED AND QUALIFIED CHILDREN’S SOCIAL WORKER (Level 2 and Level 3)?
 
We are currently looking for experienced, qualified Children’s Social Workers to join our front line fieldwork teams in the North, Central and South areas of Nottingham City. Our locality teams support Children and Young People in their local areas across all levels of need. We work in partnership with relevant agencies and families to achieve good outcomes for children. Nottingham is an early intervention city and we have invested in the use of therapeutic, multi-systemic approaches to work with families to achieve long lasting change and support frontline social work practice.
 
We welcome applications from qualified Social Workers who have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the frameworks that underpin Social Work practice and, are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve positive outcomes for children, by working in partnership with families and professionals to develop SMART plans to meet the needs of children.
 
You should be able to deliver consistency, energy and passion to make a difference to children and young people’s lives.
 
Main Duties:
  • To ensure the delivery of appropriate services to children and their families, according to their assessed needs.
  • Undertaking assessments to consider the needs of Children & Families according to the thresholds set locally and in accordance with national guidance within timescales
  • T the creation and implementation of culturally appropriate care plans that demonstrate flexibility and innovative use of resources.
  • With minimal supervision, undertake case management responsibilities that include child-focused assessments of need within a person centred approach, monitoring, coordinating and review of care plans.
  • To practice in accordance with the Social Work England professional standards for Social Workers.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Professional Social Work Qualification
  • HCPC Registered
  • Direct experience working with children in a child care setting
  • Possession of full driving licence and access to a vehicle
 
As a Level 2 Social Worker, you will receive a salary of £32,865, and as a Level 3 Social Worker, you will receive a salary of £35,828 (at both levels salaries are inclusive of a temporary market supplement).
