Fixed Term up to 12 months
The Service Desk provides support to the Payroll, Recruitment and Human Resources teams within the ESC. Newly appointed agents will be offered continued support and on the job training along with excellent Leicestershire County Council conditions of service. Two full time positions working hours will be 37 per week, maintaining cover within the team between 8.30- 5.00 (4.30 on Fridays ).

  • GCSE's Grades A-C including English and Maths or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in the use of ICT systems, including Word, Excel and Access.
  • Experience of working in a Customer Focused Environment.
  • Customer Service Skills.
  • Ability to handle all telephone queries, efficiently and professionally.
  • Ability to capture, store and accurately retrieve information.
  • Listening skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Numerical skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
