Senior Programme and Performance Officer - Energy
Contract Type: 12-month fixed term
Salary: Grade 11 £32,979 - £35,607
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Strategic Property Services Team.
You will develop and review LCC’s property related energy, water and carbon reduction strategy and policies and monitor their effectiveness and advise on necessary changes or improvements. Performance manage a programme of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects offered to schools and other educational establishments and undertake the commissioning of: - energy procurement and carbon reduction, energy management, energy/carbon reduction, capital and revenue funded projects. You will assist in the monitoring of project and programme finances and costs to ensure they are kept within budget and monitor and report on physical progress of projects on site against set programmes and their ongoing outcomes.
You will be responsible for coordinating the performance monitoring of delivery and effectiveness of LCC’s property energy strategies. This includes regular monitoring and reporting and close liaison with the Energy Performance Officer and other colleagues in Operational Property Services.
Essential Experience:
  • Relevant Degree or NVQ4 in Construction Management, Energy or Environmental Management, Building Surveying or similar
  • Demonstrate experience of delivering in the areas of construction relating to energy conservation and environmental issues.
  • Experience of preparation of works programmes, preparation of reports and dealing with correspondence,
  • Experience of involvement in the development of key performance measures and benchmarking activities
  • Experience of promoting and delivering continuous improvement.
