We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible and suitably experienced person for the role of Senior Premises Officer to lead and manage our team of premises and cleaning staff. This is an important and varied role where you will be responsible for the provision of high quality maintenance, security and cleanliness of the college site in order that students, staff, community users and visitors have a comfortable, clean, safe and well-maintained environment in which to work and learn.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good practical and organisation skills, a positive work ethic and a commitment to health and safety matters. You will have good knowledge of maintenance procedures and skills, along with relevant health and safety legislation. It is important that you are literate and numerate, self-motivated and are able to support and manage other team members. As Senior Premises Officer, you will also provide sound and expert site management advice to the senior leadership team.
You will be working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, covering a 3 week shift pattern to meet the operational needs of the college. There will also be the need for occasional weekend work:
• Shift 1 – 06:00 to 14:00 (Mon-Thu) and 06:00 to 13:00 (Fri)
• Shift 2 – 10:00 to 18:00 (Mon-Thu) and 10:30 to 18:00 (Fri)
• Shift 3 – 14:00 to 22:00 (Mon-Thu) and 10:30 to 18:00 (Fri)
