The starting salary is £37,849 (level 1) rising to £39,782 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

Senior Practitioner – Children’s Integrated Services
2 Full Time Posts -  Initial 1 Year Fixed Term Contract 
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to undertake.
The role is to lead a ‘Frontline’ Unit of four students as a Consultant Social Worker. During the 12 months, the successful candidate will benefit from some quality professional development with a minimum of thirteen training days and eight coaching sessions with the support of Frontline.
If you:-
  • Have substantial experience as a social work practitioner
  • Have a thorough understanding of good social work practice and recent research in respect to children and families
  • Have the ability to act as a role model and mentor to improve the practise of colleagues 
  • Have a good working knowledge of evidence based practice such as motivational interviewing and solution focused
  • Have a thorough knowledge of statutory frameworks within children’s social care.
  • Can critically evaluate and effectively manage risk in complex cases, recognising how bias and evidence influence risk management.
  • Wish to develop your leadership skills and practise 
  • Hold a Practice Educator 1 and Practice Educator Level 2 qualification
