The starting salary is £37,849 (level 1) rising to £39,782 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

The Senior Employer Engagement and Apprenticeship Officer will lead an employer engagement and sales service on behalf of the Nottingham Jobs Hub, engaging construction employers to support them with their recruitment, skills, and workforce development needs and ensuring the sign up to the Jobs Hub offer.
Taking an employer focused approach the post holder will work with the employer to develop an initial bespoke package of recruitment, skills and workforce solutions and liaise with Jobs Hub Employer Relations team accordingly to ensure that the Hub’s service meets the employer’s need and meets the required standard.
In addition, the post holder will have the following key responsibilities:
• To assist the Jobs Hub Manager in providing professional support for colleagues working on all construction-related aspects of Nottingham Jobs employer, provider and customer related services.
• To have functional responsibility for specific aspects of the work of the team.    
• To work as a Senior Employer Engagement and Apprenticeship Officer providing leadership around employer engagement planning and operations to deliver the Jobs Hub and Construction Skills Fund (CSF) key performance targets and ensuring accurate monthly reporting of performance against agreed measures.
• To manage the Jobs Hub construction team, building and maintaining long-term relationships with construction employers and promoting the range of Jobs Hub products and services with a view to creating a greater number of employment and apprenticeship opportunities in the construction sector.
• Recent Experience of working with employers and employer bodies on recruitment and skills issues
• Ability to work at a senior level with public and private sector organisations to develop and implement delivery plans to increase demand for Jobs Hub services
• Effective leadership and organisational planning skills and the ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team to deliver positive results and meet KPIs.
