Leicestershire County Council is looking for a dynamic professional to work within its newly formed internal Weight Management Service. This is a key role in the service which sits at the heart of the departments integrated lifestyle system. The post holder will have the opportunity to be a key part of the service’s management team, taking responsibility for specific areas within the service. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail along with strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work independently using their own initiative.
   
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• A four year or three-year Undergraduate degree in Dietetics or a Two year Post Graduate Degree in Dietetics or similar non- UK qualification
• UK registered Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council
• Work experience in a varied dietetic environment
• Has developed expert practice in primary care and weight management and aware of different ways of caseload management and delivering service
• Can give examples of quality initiatives to improve the delivery of services and own involvement in specific initiatives
• Can use different techniques for motivating individuals and groups to make behavioural change
