The starting salary is £25,292 (Level One) rising to £26,999 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

The role of Senior Address Management Officer has responsibility for the Council's statutory Street Naming and Numbering function which requires the management of a caseload, liaising with developers and members of the public. The role also has joint operational responsibility for the management, accuracy and currency of the data held within the Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) and the Local Street Gazetteer (LSG), providing data analysis and extracts, advising on its dissemination and use within the Council and ensuring national data entry conventions and contractual obligations are met.

            
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Ability and experience of working towards and adhering to policy, legislation and standards, ideally in relation to Street Naming and Numbering and the LLPG
  • Ability to undertake detailed work in a precise and accurate manner
  • Experience of managing a caseload to meet performance targets and customer expectations
  • An appreciation and understanding of the value of good data quality
  • To be able to use own initiative and be able to work without supervision
