FOR PUPILS WITH COMMUNICATION AND INTERACTION NEEDS, NAMELY AUTISM?
     
We are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant x 2
  
Salary: Grade 6 (£14,749 actual)
Contract: Term-time and permanent
Start date: 4th January 2021
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm term time plus 5 INSET days per year
Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

As part of Leicestershire County Council’s commitment to create school places for children with SEND, Thorpe Acre Junior School will be opening a new 10 place provision on the school campus for children with communication and interaction needs, namely autism.
           
The governors are looking to appoint 2 SEND teaching assistants to be based in the Resource Base next to the mainstream school.
The Base opened in October 2020 and you will be joining an established team of 4.
