This is a fantastic opportunity to join our new Resourcing team, where you’ll be part of a small but dedicated team that are passionate about the development and delivery of a comprehensive resourcing service.
   
Working closely with recruiting managers in Children and Family Services, you will be the subject matter expert and establish recruitment needs across the service, proactively delivering timely resourcing solutions.
  
You’ll be comfortable managing a busy workload, prioritising effectively while maintaining clear and frequent communication with stakeholders and candidates. You should have strong attention to detail and be able to deliver under pressure to high standards.
  
It would be beneficial for you to have previous experience recruiting for social care roles and/or experience of recruiting within the public sector, although this is not essential.
  
Key responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate, lead and deliver recruitment campaigns ensuring a consistent and effective approach
  • Work with the Communications team to review, evaluate and improve the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Support with the development, delivery and evaluation of recruitment initiatives such as career fairs and open days
  • Pre-screening applications and arranging assessments
  • Support with the identification of resourcing and workforce issues and to design and implement effective solutions
 
The ideal candidate:
  • Substantial experience of successfully managing recruitment campaigns from initiation to completion
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Experience of in-house recruitment and hard to fill roles
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practice and legislation, current resourcing methods and market trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
