A unique and exciting opportunity to help deliver our BEIS funded Local Capacity Support programme across the Midlands. These 3 vacancies (2 year fixed term), led by the Regional Energy Projects Manager, will become part of the regional energy projects team for the West and East Midlands, forming the 'Hub' for which energy projects and programmes can be developed and delivered.
Building on Nottingham's highly successful Energy Services division there is a post for each of the 9 LEPs in the region, six of which are filled, all employed by Nottingham City Council. Applications are invited from across this geographical region with a successful candidate to be assigned to a specific LEP area including; Marches LEP, Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP, and Black Country LEP. The successful candidate(s) will be based at the LEP and/or local authority offices for their assigned region and will also have the opportunity for home working for part of the week which will be agreed with their manager.
These posts will report to the Regional Energy Projects Manager located in the D2N2 LEP, who in turn reports directly to the Head of Energy Services at Nottingham City Council. Team meetings are held in Nottingham once a month to bring the team together from across the Midlands region and facilitate collaborative working practices.
