In Nottingham City Council Children’s Integrated Services we are striving to put children at the heart of everything we do. The Quality Assurance Manager role is a new opportunity to join a dynamic service and to make a real difference to the quality of practice with children, young people and their families in a vibrant and diverse City.

We are seeking a social work qualified and experienced Quality Assurance Manager who will be confident in driving improvement in the quality of practice, working with the Practice Forum, the Principal Social Worker and other key Managers and partners to ensure consistency in good practice across the services. You will play a key role in coaching, mentoring, and developing practitioners and teams and will also quality assure practice by case auditing. You will also ensure that the strengths-based with Signs of Safety model of practice is embedded and sustained.

 

What we are looking for from you;

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Passion about social work and using practice frameworks to ensure positive change
  • Ability to work with individuals and teams on practice improvement
  • Ability to identify areas for policy and practice improvement and to lead on their implementation
