The starting salary is £19,171 (Level One) rising to £19,945 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers)

Nottingham City Council are looking for HGV drivers to work across different services within commercial & operations. This role will primarily be driving refuse collection vehicles ranging between 18 tonne and 32 tonne. This role operates flexibly across a range of frontline services i.e domestic waste, commercial waste, street cleansing.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Class 2 driving licence
  • Driver CPC
  • Experience / Knowledge of driving refuse collection vehicles, gritters & mainline sweepers.
  • Be able to work flexible on annualised hours i.e longer or shorter hours throughout different weeks across numerous working patterns. This will also include bank holiday working & Good Friday
