We are seeking to recruit an innovative Project Worker 2 to be involved in the design of a new Supported Lodgings scheme for care experienced young people in Nottingham. 
      
Supported Lodgings provide young people with the opportunity to live in a home environment (either with an individual or family), receiving the support and guidance they need to develop the skills for their move on to independent living.   
     
The primary objectives for the post of Supported Lodgings worker are to:
  • Recruit, train and supervise individuals who are able to provide Supported Lodgings accommodation.
  • Publicise the service within the Local Authority in such a way as to encourage referrals for young people seeking Supported Lodgings; carrying out careful and responsible matching of young person to provider.  
  • Work as part of a multi disciplinary team to support the success of placements for both young people and providers.

Essential car user required as the successful post holder will be required to travel throughout Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.
