LCC’S Transformation Team is looking for an ambitious candidate with a range of skills and experience to join the team. The post will play a key role in supporting LCC on its transformational journey to becoming a modern and sustainable Council for the future.
 
We deliver a wide range of initiatives across the authority, from practice based change in social care to digital transformation projects to revolutionise the way we work, all with the ultimate ambition of improving the customer experience whilst generating efficiencies. We are looking for ambitious individuals who have experience of working in a project environment to come and join our large team of project professionals.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Project Managers to successfully deliver projects, ensuring programme and project standards within project teams and providing advice and guidance where appropriate. 
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Level 4 qualification in project management or business administration.
 
Experience in:
  • Working on projects in a supportive, enabling role.
  • Providing administrative support and coordination.
  • Organising and facilitating key meetings including Project Boards, Project Team meetings and workshops with a focus on decisions and actions
  • Presenting information in a variety of formats relevant to audience needs.
 
Key skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Collate, analyse and interpret information to support effective project delivery.
  • Ability to plan activities around the project deliverables within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards and support with the development of Project Management processes and tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills ensuring an orderly environment for the project and objectives to be managed.
