JOB PURPOSE
  • To Provide Support in the management, monitoring and reporting of externally funded projects and to assist with identifying and applying for future externally funded projects including Set up and maintain project recording and reporting project costs where required
  • Set up and maintain project recording and reporting systems and maintain systems for recording, monitoring and reporting project costs where required.
  • To support Project Managers to successfully deliver projects
  • Organise, prepare and support key meetings including Project Boards, Project Team meetings and workshops, ensuring decisions and actions are captured and followed up where required
  • Support to identify and apply for future funding opportunities
  
 ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Educated to NVQ4 level in Project Management/Business Admin or equivalent or appropriate experience to this level
  • Experience of working on projects in a supportive, Enabling role
  • Experience of providing administrative and coordination
  • Experience organising and facilitating key meetings including Project Boards project team meetings and workshops with a focus on decisions and actions
  • Experience of presenting information in a variety of formats relevant to audience needs
  • Good general business and commercial acumen
  • Knowledge of project documents and requirements
  • Knowledge of various Microsoft programmed including Word, Excel, Visio, Project etc.
  • To have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to transfer relevant and proportionate information to members of the project team and to the PMO and engage effectively with key stakeholders
  • Ability to control and update relevant spreadsheets, plans and master documents
  • To collate, analyse and interpret information to support effective project delivery and identify recommendations and learning points for the project team, PMO an wider PPM community Ability to plan activities around the project deliverables within agreed timescales
  • Assess business area ease and compliance with PMO standards and requirement feedback and support with the development of project management processes and tools
  • Excellent organisational skills ensuring an orderly environment for the project and objectives to be managed
