The starting salary is £28,785.00(Level One) rising to £30,507.00 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers)

Do you have experience at providing adaptations for disabled people? We are looking for a surveyor or tradesperson who can demonstrate the ability and experience to design, specify and supervise home adaptations for disabled people. You will also be able to show empathy and understanding of the needs of disabled people.
  • Design, specification and supervision of works of improvement, repair or adaptation e.g. project manage from survey to completion, scrutinise tenders, certification of payment and completion.
  • Processing of Disabled Facilities Grants, and other forms of assistance for vulnerable people.
  • To provide a comprehensive agency service for vulnerable citizens, in partnership with Occupational Therapy, selected contractors, etc.

  • Extensive knowledge of housing construction and repair, renovation and adaptations techniques.
  • Awareness of the housing needs of disabled and other vulnerable people.
  • Experience in the survey of buildings, preparation of detailed drawings, schedules and specifications of building work, administration / supervision of building contracts
