The East Midlands has a leading role in working with Government to put in place equitable and effective arrangements for asylum and refugees resettlement.
East Midlands Councils is now offering an exciting opportunity for someone with the right skills and attributes to lead and support the coordination and delivery of regional projects and programme evaluation.
Working with local authority and voluntary sector partners you will have responsibility for undertaking research, data collection and analysis and assist with project development work relating to asylum and refugee resettlement in the East Midlands, including the Controlling Migration Fund, Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) Project and ESOL.
As Programme Officer, you will co-ordinate the training programme associated with project delivery and provide wider governance support to the Regional Coordination Team and the project board.
Requiring a blend of programme and partnership management, with experience of managing priorities and performance to meet deadlines; for this challenging but rewarding role, we are seeking a dynamic and flexible individual with an understanding of relevant policy and legislation frameworks, and with a record of achievement in project and programme co-ordination and delivery.
