Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time plus 4 additional weeks during school holidays (dates allocated based on business needs)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Term Time (38 weeks per year) plus 4 weeks (including 3 professional learning days)
Shifts: 11am – 7pm with ½ hour lunchbreak (when mini bus driving is needed)
Overtime hours available
Otherwise: 9am – 5pm with ½ hour lunchbreak
Salary Details: LG Band 4, Scale Points 7 - 10

We are looking for a reliable Premises Officer and Mini Bus Driver who will have responsibility for driving the school mini bus and ensuring that all health and safety checks and risk assessments are carried out and recorded and to organise/co-ordinate any maintenance and statutory checks. This person will also play an important part in maintaining the site and helping us to keep our academy safe, secure and clean for our students, staff and visitors.
You will carry out general maintenance and cleaning tasks and liaise with specialist contractors where needed.
You will be on your feet a lot of the day and you will need to move goods and equipment around the site.
This role requires working 11am to 7pm shifts when required to drive the mini bus and 9am to 5pm shifts at other times.
There will be an opportunity to earn overtime, supporting our successful events and lettings at weekends.
There are four weeks’ school holiday hours attached to this role to enable work to be done when we can access the whole site without students and majority of staff being around. 
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.
