The starting salary is £28785 (level 1) rising to £30507 (level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

Community Protection are looking for a highly motivated individual for the role of Policy Performance and Strategy Officer. As part of the Business Development team, the successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative in a fast-paced environment, be able to build up successful working relationships and be able to support the development and implementation of local and national policy work/research in relation to Community Protection functions.
                
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Knowledge and experience of applying performance and project management principles
  • Experience of investigative/research work, complex problem solving, developing and implementing remedial outcomes and solutions.
  • Proven analytical and strategic planning and research skills to interpret and apply legislation and national priorities guidance in a local context
  • Proficient use of IT including performance management tools and systems
